09/16/2020 (Argentina) - Anti-government demonstrators are expected to gather on Wednesday, September 16, outside of Congress in Buenos Aires as a Senate session is held addressing a controversial reassignment of three judges to the Federal Chamber under the administration of former President, Mauricio Macri. Participants are expected to gather from 12:00 (local time) and the demonstration will likely be well-attended.
Localized disruptions and a heightened security presence are likely in the vicinity of the Congress building. Clashes between security forces and protesters are also possible.
