09/16/2020 (Argentina) - Unionized transport workers affiliated with the Automotive Transport Union (UTA) in La Plata are planning a 48-hour strike in the city on Wednesday, September 16, and Thursday, September 17, in order to demand a salary increase. The strike will suspend all travel on routes 273, 214, 520, 418, and Norte. Further protest actions and strikes may take place in La Plata if the UTA fails to reach an agreement with authorities.
