February 22, 2013. Swine flu claims second victim in Buenos Aires province

A nurse infected with swine flu while working in a Carmen de Areco hospital in Buenos Aires province died after receiving treatment in La Plata, a Buenos Aires-based news source reported on February 22nd. Eleven other people in the hospital had reportedly been infected, and the nurse was the second fatal case of the swine flu in the region. The first victim, also a nurse at the same hospital who received treatment in La Plata, died on February 8th.
