Emerging reports of blast in Peshawar's Dir Colony October 27

10/27/2020 (Pakistan) - Emerging reports suggest that an explosion has occurred at a madrassah in the Dir Colony area of Peshawar on Tuesday, October 27. Reports state that at least five people have been killed and 50 others have been injured by the explosion. The cause of the blast is currently unclear. Emergency services are currently responding to the incident.
Localized disruptions are possible in the abovementioned area in the near term.

Those in Peshawar are advised to avoid the affected area and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
