10/25/2020 (Pakistan) - The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition of opposition parties is planning a rally in Quetta on Sunday, October 25, to call for the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan amid accusations that the army rigged the 2018 election to ensure that Khan came into power. The event is expected to be held at Ayub Stadium. Officials have stated that increased security will be implemented in the vicinity of the rally due to the high-profile nature of those attending the event.
The rally is likely to be well attended and therefore localized disruptions should be anticipated during the period surrounding the event.

Those in Quetta are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all gatherings as a precaution, anticipate associated disruptions in the vicinity of demonstrations, and heed all instructions issued by local authorities.
