10/25/2020 (Somalia) - Local sources report that militants launched an attack on a Somali National Army (SNA) base in Qansahdhere (Bay region) on Sunday, October 25, triggering heavy clashes in the area. Reports indicate that at least one security forces member is believed to have been killed in the fighting, and three others wounded, although details are still emerging regarding casualty figures and the nature of the fighting, including the identity of the attackers.
