Multiple killed in explosion in Kabul's PD13 October 24

10/24/2020 (Afghanistan) - A suspected suicide explosion in the Pul-e-Khoshk area of Dasht-e Barchi in Kabul's Police District 13 (PD13) on Saturday evening, October 24, killed at least ten people and injured 20 more. Reportedly, the explosion was the result of a suicide attack and the building targeted was associated with the Shia Muslim community. Responsibility for the blast was not immediately claimed.
Localized disruptions are possible in the abovementioned area in the near term. Those in Kabul should be mindful of the possibility of further attacks.

Those in Kabul are advised to avoid the affected area, remain vigilant for possible militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
