10/22/2020 (Thailand) - A gas pipeline explosion in the Bang Bo district of Samut Prakan province on Thursday, October 22, killed at least two people and injured more than two dozen others. The resulting fire burned multiple vehicles and structures in the area and was reportedly under control as of 15:15 local time. The cause of the explosion, which occurred near the Preng police station, remains unclear and officials have begun an investigation into the incident.
A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are to be expected around the blast site over the coming hours.

Individuals in the affected area are advised to monitor the situation and anticipate business and service disruptions in the vicinity of the explosion.
