10/22/2020 (France) - Reports state that the Part-Dieu railway station has been evacuated due to an ongoing police operation on Thursday, October 22. The incident reportedly involved a bomb threat made by a woman who was threatening to blow herself up. The suspect has since been detained by police. The station has been evacuated and a bomb squad dispatched to the area to investigate the suspicious package belonging to the suspect.
Residual disruptions to transport should be anticipated both in and around Part-Dieu station, as well as a heightened security presence.
