Demonstrators to gather in Toronto on October 24

10/22/2020 (Canada) - Activists have called for a demonstration in Toronto (Ontario province) for Saturday, October 24. The demonstration has been organized by 'The Line' activist group and is being held to protest against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) related restrictions. Participants of the demonstration are scheduled to gather at approximately 12:00 (local time) at Yonge-Dundas Square.
Although the protest is expected to pass off peacefully, a heightened security presence and localized traffic disruption are expected in the vicinity of the event.
Those in Toronto are advised to monitor developments, anticipate disruptions to transport, avoid large gatherings as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions by local authorities.
