10/21/2020 (Congo (Brazzaville)) - A nationwide indefinite transport strike is scheduled to take place throughout urban centers of Congo from Thursday, October 22. The event is being held to protest against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) measures that currently limit the capacity of people able to take transportation. A heightened demand for alternative transportation should be anticipated during the industrial action.
A heightened security presence and associated disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest site.
