10/16/2020 (Tunisia) - Restaurant and café owners plan to hold a protest outside the Municipal Theatre in Tunis on Friday, October 16, to demonstrate against restrictions implemented to limit the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Protesters are expected to gather at 10:00 (local time).
A heightened security presence and associated disruptions to transportation and business should be anticipated.
Those in Tunis are advised to monitor the situation, avoid demonstrations and political gatherings, and heed any instructions issued by local authorities.
