10/08/2020 (Lebanon) - An anti-government protest is scheduled to take place in Jounieh on Saturday, October 10, at the Fouad Chehab Stadium at 19:00 (local time). Security forces are likely to forcibly disperse the protesters who are reportedly supporters of the Daleel Thawra anti-government group.
A heightened security presence and localized travel disruptions should be anticipated in the vicinity of the event.
Those in Jounieh are advised to monitor developments, avoid all protests as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
