09/23/2020 (Argentina) - Anti-government activists and lawyers' organizations plan to demonstrate in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, September 23. Participants will gather outside the Supreme Court on Avenida Talcahuano from 19:00 (local time). The demonstration is being held to protest against the government's controversial reversal of three judges' reassignment.
The demonstration is expected to be well attended and a heightened security presence and localized disruptions to transport are possible in the vicinity of the court. Further protests are possible over the issue in the coming days.
Those in Buenos Aires are advised to monitor developments, avoid demonstrations and political gatherings as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
