09/17/2020 (Tunisia) - Activists plan to demonstrate outside the Embassy of Spain on Rue du Dr Conseil in Tunis on Thursday, September 17. Participants will gather at 10:00 (local time) to demand the release of Tunisian migrants detained in the autonomous Spanish city of Melilla.
A heightened security presence is expected in the vicinity of the protest and localized transport disruptions are possible in the area.
Those in Tunis are advised to monitor the situation, anticipate transportation disruptions, avoid all protests or demonstrations as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
