09/13/2020 (Brazil) - Animal rights activists have announced plans to stage a demonstration in Sao Paulo on Sunday, September 13. The protest is being held to demand that Governor Joao Doria veto legislation permitting the hunting of wild exotic animals. Participants are expected to gather in front of the Sao Paulo Museum of Art at 12:30 (local time), before marching along Paulista Avenue.
Associated business and transportation disruptions are to be anticipated in the vicinity of the protest, as well as a heightened security presence.
