09/12/2020 (Australia) - A protest has been scheduled in Melbourne on Sunday, September 13, over restrictions implemented due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The demonstration is being held near the city center, where participants are set to gather from around 11:00 (local time).
Organizers of the protest will reportedly announce the exact location of the event at 10:00 on Sunday.
Previous protests on September 12 passed peacefully.
Associated business and transportation disruptions are to be anticipated in the vicinity of the protest, as well as a heightened security presence.
