MIED blast reported in Kabul's PD15 August 8

08/08/2020 (Afghanistan) - A magnetically-attached improvised explosive device (MIED) blast targeted an Afghan National Security Forces (ANDSF) vehicle in Kabul's Qasaba districtlocated in Police District 15 (PD15) on Saturday, August 8. Reports suggest the attack took place at around 07:00 (local time). There have been no immediate reports of casualties.
Individuals should be mindful of the possibility of secondary devices.
Those in Kabul are advised to avoid the affected area, remain vigilant for militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
