08/06/2020 (Greece) - Demonstrators are planning to gather in Athens and Thessaloniki on Thursday evening, August 6, to commemorate the anniversary of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and Greece's involvement in wars. In Athens, participants will gather at Jacqueline de Romy Square from 20:00 (local time), while demonstrators in Thessaloniki will gather from 19:00 at the White Tower Square.
Localized disruption is likely in the vicinity of the demonstration, along with a heightened security presence.

Those in Greece are advised to monitor developments, avoid all protests and political gatherings, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
