08/05/2020 (Tunisia) - Demonstrators are scheduled to gather outside the Ministry of Education in Tunis on Wednesday morning, August 5. Reportedly, participants will gather from 09:00 (local time) to call for a review of entry requirements for educational institutions as a result of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) affecting school attendance.
A heightened security presence and localized traffic disruptions are anticipated in the vicinity of the protest.
Individuals in Tunis are advised to monitor developments, avoid all gatherings as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
