Doctors to Stage Demonstration Outside Hospital in Bulawayo

09/16/2019 (Zimbabwe) - The Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association (ZHDA) has announced that it will stage a protest outside of Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo on Monday, 16 September. The demonstration, which is in protest of the abduction of the ZHDA president, will begin at 1000hrs (0800 UTC). Localised disruption to travel and hospital services are likely to occur.
Members are advised to avoid any large crowds or political gatherings due to the security risk that they pose. Travellers are also encouraged to monitor local news and media for further information relating to the demonstration and associated disruption.
