09/14/2019 (Greece) - According to local media sources, the All-Workers Militant Front (PAME) is planning to hold a rally in Athens on Tuesday, 17 September. The union coordination group have organised the rally to protest against a proposed labour bill that it claims impinges on workers' rights and conditions. They have called for workers to gather at the Propylaea (the gate to the Acropolis) at 1900hrs (1600 UTC). PAME has also threatened to organise a strike to coincide with when the bill comes before parliament.

Members should avoid the vicinity of all protests and large political gatherings in order to lessen the chances of being affected by incidental violence and police operations. Personnel should monitor local media sources for further information on the rally and associated transport disruption.
