09/14/2019 (Indonesia) - According to international media sources, an explosion at a munitions warehouse in Srondol on Saturday, 14 September, injured a police officer and prompted the evacuation of nearby residents. The warehouse is located in the Mobile Police Brigade headquarters in Srondol, close to the city of Semarang in Central Java province. The explosion reportedly occurred at 0700hrs (0001 UTC). The cause of the blast is being investigated and firefighters had been deployed to tackle a blaze that it triggered.
