09/13/2019 (France) - According to media sources, Yellow Vest protests will be held across the country on Saturday, 14 September. In Nantes, Pays de la Loire region, demonstrators are expected to gather at 1200hrs (1000 UTC) at Place General Mellinet before marching to Place Delorme. In Paris, demonstrators are planning to gather at 1400hrs (1200 UTC) at Orly Airport (ORY). Related protests are also expected in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, and a number of other urban centres across France. Although attendance at the gatherings has diminished somewhat since mass demonstrations began in late 2018, unrest and associated travel disruptions should not be ruled out.

Members are advised to avoid any large crowds and protests due to the potential for violent crowd behaviour and heavy-handed police crowd dispersal measures. Travellers are further advised to review overland travel arrangements in case of potential disruptions resulting from the large crowds. Monitor local media sources for further information regarding the protests and any associated disruption.
