09/13/2019 (Georgia) - According to local media sources, the opposition Alliance of Patriots of Georgia (APG) party has called for an anti-US protest in Tbilisi on Sunday, 15 September. Supporters of the party intend to gather at the US Embassy from 1600hrs (1300 UTC). The purpose of the protest is to denounce western interference in Georgian affairs.
Those in Tbilisi should avoid the vicinity of any political gatherings in order to lessen the chances of being affected by incidental violence and police operations. Members should monitor local media sources for further information and heed any directives issued by the authorities.
