Reports of a Bomb Explosion in North Mitrovica

02/18/2019 (Kosovo) - Media sources reported on Monday, 18 February, that a bomb exploded at around 0500hrs (0400 UTC) in North Mitrovica in front of a fitness salon located on Vojvode Putnika Street. Some material damage has been reported but there are currently no confirmed casualties following the explosion. Currently, no one has been taken into custody but police investigations are ongoing.
Members are advised to avoid the vicinity of Vojvode Putnika in order to avoid potential localised travel disruptions. Further, members should report any suspicious activity to local authorities and remain high vigilant.
