02/17/2019 (Serbia) - Social media outlets report that further anti-government protests are planned to take place on Saturday, 23 February, in the capital Belgrade, in demand for an end to political violence and greater media freedom. Demonstrators will reportedly gather at around 1800hrs (1700 UTC) on the square near the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Philosophy. This will be the 12th consecutive weekend of demonstrations to take place.

Members in the area are advised to avoid the vicinity of the rallies in order to mitigate against opportunistic crime, unruly crowd behaviour and police crowd control measures. Personnel are further advised to monitor local traffic information services for updates on disruptions resulting from the demonstrations.
