02/16/2019 (Lebanon) - Media sources reported on Saturday, 16 February, that a commemorative event in Sidon, South Governorate, will take place at 1730hrs (1530 UTC) at Martyr's Square. The gathering has been organised to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the end of the Israeli occupation of Sidon. While the event is likely to remain peaceful, unrest cannot be ruled out and a larger security presence should be expected.
