02/16/2019 (Cyprus) - Media sources reported on Saturday, 16 February, that adverse weather conditions across the country are likely to cause road travel disruption. Reports on Friday, 15 February, indicated that a number of roads - including the A6 motorway between Pissouri and Avdimou (both Limassol district) - have been closed due to overflowing rivers, flooding, and landslides. Further rains, as well as snowfall in mountainous areas, may cause additional disruption until at least Monday, 18 February.

Members are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and account for possible delays due to the adverse weather. Drivers should proceed with care, keep a safe distance on roads and adjust speeds taking road conditions into account. Members are further advised to monitor any possible deterioration of local weather conditions through local media outlets.
