02/16/2019 (France) - Media sources reported on Saturday, 16 February, that a protest has been scheduled to take place in Paris on Tuesday, 19 February, from 1900hrs (1800 UTC) at Place de la Republique. Several political parties are supporting the event, which is being held to denounce anti-Semitism. The gathering is likely to be well attended and unrest cannot be discounted. There is likely to be a large security presence and localised travel disruption should be anticipated.
Members are advised to avoid any large crowds and protests due to the security risk that they pose and maintain strong situational awareness at all times. Travellers are also encouraged to monitor local news and media for further information relating to the protest.
