02/16/2019 (United Kingdom) - According to emerging social media reports on Saturday, 16 February, police are dealing with a suspected shooting in Glasgow. Officers were called to Dykemuir Street in Springburn around 1115hrs (UTC). A man is being treated in hospital. Extra police patrols are in the area and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Members are advised to avoid the vicinity of the shooting while investigations are ongoing and to ensure that any risk of further violence is avoided. Localised travel disruptions are also likely as areas remain cordoned off. Travellers are also encouraged to monitor local news and media for further information relating to the incident.
