02/15/2019 (India) - National and local media outlets are reporting that IndiGo has cancelled around 130 flights on Friday, 15 February, due to a continuation of an acute shortage of pilots, along with a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) being issued. The airline has been cancelling flights since Saturday, 9 February, as a result of the rain and hailstorm that hit the Delhi-NCR region last week. The NOTAM in Bangalore, which became effective as of Thursday, 14 February, is also due to the hazardous weather that is currently affecting the region. The pilot shortage looks like to continue over the coming days.

Travellers who are due to fly with IndiGo airlines are advised to contact their travel provider to confirm their flights and may need to rearrange their itineraries if necessary. Monitor local media to keep updated informed of the disruption and any potential resolution to the current shortage of pilots.
