02/15/2019 (United Arab Emirates) - According to emerging and unconfirmed reports at 1108hrs (0708 UTC) on Friday, 15 February, a suspected drone has been spotted near the Dubai International Airport (DXB) leading to disruptions of flight operations. It is unknown at this time how many flights may be impacted due to the unauthorised drone activity. Further information is awaited.

Those travelling via DXB are advised to contact their airline ahead of departure in order to clarify the status of flights. Members should remain alert to any further directives issued by authorities and monitor local media for further updates on disruptions.
