02/15/2019 (Argentina) - According to local media sources on Friday, 15 February, bus drivers of the Ersa and Aucor companies launched a strike at around 0500hrs (0800 UTC) in Cordoba. At this time it is not clear what the drivers are demonstrating for or against. Reportedly, all lines of the two transport companies are temporarily suspended. Disruption is to be expected. Further information is awaited.

Members in the area are advised to anticipate possible disruption to overland travel and should account for this in their travel itineraries, making alternative arrangements where possible. Travellers should minimise time spent in the vicinity of all demonstrations and political gatherings due to the risk of exposure to potential crowd disturbances, opportunistic crime, and incidental violence.
