MQM-P Supporters to Protest in Karachi on 14 February

02/14/2019 (Pakistan) - According to local media sources, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) supporters will gather in Karachi on Thursday, 14 February, to protest a deadly attack on their party workers in New Karachi Town that occurred on Monday, 11 February. The protest will take place outside the Karachi Press Club in Karachi. Heightened security measures and localised disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the demonstration
Members in the area should avoid the vicinity of any demonstrations in order to lessen the chances of being affected by incidental violence and police operations. Members should monitor local media sources for further information on planned and spontaneous protests and heed any directives issued by the authorities.
