02/14/2019 (India) - According to local media sources on Thursday, 14 February, an improvised explosive device was found just outside a school in the Canchipur area of Imphal district. The bomb was reportedly found outside the southern gate of the local Catholic school in the area. Security forces were called to the scene to defuse the bomb. Further details are awaited.
Members are advised to avoid the area of the incident due to possible ongoing security response. Travellers should also expect overland disruption in the vicinity of the incident.
