02/13/2019 (India) - Local news outlets are reporting that rallies, labelled as the 'Save the Constitution' march, are scheduled to take place in New Delhi on Wednesday, 13 February and Thursday, 14 February. The demonstrations are due to begin at Jantar Mantar and will be lead by the chief minister of West Bengal state. The rallies are in protest to the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Heightened security measures and localised traffic disruptions are expected to occur in the vicinity of the march.

Members are advised to avoid any demonstrations due to the security risk that they pose. Any large crowds should be avoided and strong situational awareness should be maintained at all times. Travellers are also encouraged to monitor local news and media for further information relating to the protests.
