Dozens of Flights Delayed and Cancelled Due to Heavy Snowfall in Moscow

02/13/2019 (Russia) - According to local media sources on Wednesday, 13 February, heavy snowfall overnight has caused 43 flights to be delayed or cancelled in the three major airports of Moscow. In Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) 11 flights have been delayed, in Domodedovo Moscow Airport (DME) three flights were delayed and further 18 cancelled. Additionally, in Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) 11 flights have been delayed.

Those travelling via VKO, DME or SVO should contact their flight carrier to ascertain the status of their flight. Members should monitor local media sources for further information.
