Multiple Injuries Following Shooting in East Moscow

02/12/2019 (Russia) - According to local media sources on Tuesday, 12 February, three people were injured in shooting at a grocery store on Glavnaya Street in eastern Moscow. The incident started out as a fight between two men when an unknown person opened fire from a non-lethal "traumatic pistol" injuring three bystanders with one woman being hospitalised. The shooter has fled and local police are conducting operations in search of the perpetrator as well as those involved in the fight. Local criminal elements often sport such non-lethal weapons which frequently cause severe injuries and sometimes even fatalities.

Those in Moscow should avoid the aforementioned area due to ongoing police operations and should report any suspicious person or activity to the authorities. Members should monitor local media sources for further information
