02/12/2019 (United States) - John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York has announced on its Twitter feed on Tuesday morning, 12 February that more than 200 flights at the airport have been cancelled due to anticipated weather conditions. The airport is advising travellers to confirm the status of their flights with their airline as further disruptions may be caused as snow and ice move through the New York area.
