10/20/2018 (Burundi) - According to emerging social media sources on Saturday, 20 October, at least ten soldiers have been killed and several others injured following an attack on a military position near the city of Cibitoke. While the attack is yet to be claimed, it is believed the armed group came across the border from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Further details on the incident are awaited.
