10/19/2018 (Spain) - According to local media sources on Thursday, 18 October, a protest march against gender-based violence is scheduled to take place in central Alicante on Friday, 19 October. The march will reportedly start at the Plaza de la Estrella at 1930 hrs (1730 UTC) and march to Placa de I'Ajutament. Heightened security and traffic disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the march.
