10/19/2018 (Switzerland) - According to local and social media reports, a severe collision occurred between a truck and a train at Berikon-Widen station on the Mutshcellen Pass in the Bremgarten district of Aargau canton on Friday morning, 19 October. Emergency services are on the scene of the incident, which occurred around 0715hrs (0515 UTC), with the fire department, ambulances and police all in attendance. Rail services in the area have been severely affected by the incident and traffic congestion has built up as the response operations continue. Cantonal police have warned the public to avoid the Mutschellen pass if possible. As yet no information has been confirmed with regards to any casualties in the incident.
