Airline Workers Hold Protest in Warsaw

10/18/2018 (Poland) - According to local media sources on Thursday, 18 October, dozens of LOT Polish Airlines workers are protesting outside the company headquarters in Warsaw. The protesters demand the rehiring of recently fired employees. The action is peaceful and mostly consists of striking workers holding signs and shouting slogans. Thus far there have not been any reports of the strike causing any delays in service of flights operated by LOT.
Those in Warsaw should avoid the vicinity of the protest and should monitor local media sources for further information.
