10/18/2018 (Lebanon) - According to local media sources on Thursday, 18 October, a petrol station exploded in the town of Sir el Gharbiyeh resulting in the deaths of at least two people and injury of six others. Emergency operations are ongoing in the area. It is not yet clear what caused the explosion.
Those in Sir el Gharbiyeh should avoid the vicinity of the incident due to ongoing operations and possibility of further explosions. Members should monitor local media sources for further information.
