10/17/2018 (Serbia) - A heightened security presence is expected in Belgrade on Saturday, 20 October as local rivals Red Star Belgrade and FK Rad meet each other in the Serbian SuperLiga at Rajko Mitic Stadium. Derby fixtures often lead to clashes between rival fans around the stadium and in other parts of the city due to the intense rivalry between supporters. Kick-off is at 1900hrs (1700 UTC) and localised traffic disruption is also anticipated around the stadium.
Members in Belgrade are advised to avoid the vicinity of Rajko Mitic Stadium in the build-up to and during the match and should maintain a heightened level of vigilance in case of any clashes erupting in other parts of the city.
