Reports of Multiple Fatalities Following Gas Explosion in Kerch, Crimea

10/17/2018 (Ukraine) - According to local media sources on Wednesday, 17 October, at least ten people have died and 70 have been injured following a suspected gas explosion at a Polytechnic College located on Verkhnya Street in Kerch, Russian-occupied Crimea. Currently, 20 of those injured have been transferred to a local hospital. Local police have arrived at the scene and are conducting operations. Further information is being awaited.
Those in Kerch should avoid the vicinity of the incident due to ongoing operations and the risk of further explosions. Members should monitor local media sources for further information and heed any directives issued by the authorities.
