10/16/2018 (Germany) - Local media sources report on Tuesday, 16 October that emergency operations are ongoing at the Alutec industrial facility in Sternenfels, Baden-Wurttemberg where at least 12 people have been injured in an accident involving hazardous product. Because of a potential toxic threat, authorities have urged people to stay away from the area. Unconfirmed reports state that the accident is due to a technical defect in a machine that released tetrachloroethylene.

Those in Sternenfels should avoid the vicinity of the incident and close all windows and doors so as to limit the chances of inhaling harmful fumes. Members should monitor local media sources for further information and heed any directives issued by the authorities.
