Incendiary Bombs Thrown at Bank in Solomyansky District of Kiev

06/22/2018 (Ukraine) - According to media reports, a local Oschadbank branch in Solomyansky district of Kiev was attacked with incendiary bombs in the early hours of Friday, 22 June. Police report that the bank was empty and no injuries were caused by the attack which happened on Heroiv Sevastopolya street at approximately 0345hrs (0045 UTC). Police have opened a criminal investigation and are treating the incident as arson.

Members in Kiev are advised to avoid the vicinity of Heroiv Sevastopolya street whilst investigations are ongoing. Those in the vicinity of the incident are advised heed any directives issued by authorities and keep apprised of further developments by monitoring local media sources.
