06/22/2018 (China) - According to emerging media reports, an unconfirmed number of people have been stabbed aboard a public bus on Hongguang Road in the Weiyang district of Xi'an, Shanxi Province on Friday, 22 June. Unconfirmed reports indicate that up to eight people have sustained critical injuries. The exact circumstances of the incident are not clear at this time, however, police have reportedly arrested the suspected perpetrator of the attack.
Members in the affected area should avoid the vicinity of the incident due to resultant travel disruption and further police operations. Travellers should report any suspicious activity or person to the police and monitor local media sources for further information.
